I'm not a huge fun of FMX but I do admire and appreciate these modern day gladiators' courage, skills, agility, fearlessness and I enjoy offroad riding so once I spotted this documentary on Netflix I had to watch it.
The movie gives a detailed background story on one of the most dangerous sports on the planet made me close my eyes at one point. Eventhough it is a documentary, I felt more emotions than watching most of the thrillers as there are tens of scenes where you cringe, want to look away, but at the same time you want to see if he'll pull it off.
I went to London Red Bull X-fighters in London years ago and now when I learned the back story I am even more impressed Hats off to these legends and their skills a pleasure to watch. Highly recommend it. Details Edit. Release date August 1, United States.
United States. There are basically two types of freestyle events which are big air and freestyle motocross. The big air event is also known as Best Trick in which every single motorcycle rider gets two jumps usually covering a distance of 75ft from a dirt covered ramp to perform a stunt.
There is a panel of judges who are there to evaluate the trick, difficulty, style and the originality of the stunt. After judging the stunt the judges will scale the rider on a point scale of marks. The second type is the freestyle motocross which is also the older of the two disciplines. In this discipline the rider performs two stunt routines which will last for fourteen minutes and ninety seconds. The rider will perform its routing on a track of multiple jumps of different lengths and angles.
