You could choose to be a good citizen who helps out the villagers by killing the enemies attacking their village and helping them solve their problems. In the end there is not a way to completing this game without killing at least one thing. However most of the things you will have to kill will be animals and monsters instead of humans.
If you do think your child will be someone that goes out killing everyone within this game then you should not consider this to be suitable for them.
